ASI Certification

NM Aluminum is committed to achieving certification by the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI), demonstrating our commitment to responsible production, sourcing, and stewardship of aluminum. Our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Director serves as our Environmental Management Representative (EMR) and leads the development of our ASI program. We have established an internal Sustainability Steering Committee (SSC) that plays a key role in advancing our ongoing sustainability initiatives.

ASI certification validates our adherence to rigorous environmental, social, and governance standards. We conduct due diligence on our primary scrap supply streams to evaluate regulatory and ethical risks, including those related to environmental stewardship, human rights, conflict-affected and high-risk areas, and anti-corruption or bribery concerns.
